Once Upon A Time In London

This is the tale of the adventures of a native Oregonian in London.

Alright Already!

So I've been chastised for it being too long in between posts. My apologies, but I've been really busy. In between cousins visiting, articles needing written for clients, the novel I'm working on, and the usual craziness and joy that is my life, this blog has taken to serious back-burner status. Heck, I'm not sure anyone even reads this thing anymore.

But just in case, here are a few pics from my cousin Elizabeth's recent visit to my humble home in Harrow.

Henry loves Brighton. He thinks the Pavilions are mag.

Since Henry is now a domesticated penguin, he prefers to look at the ocean from afar.

Bestest cousins.

London calling.

Things have quieted down now for the moment. I'm about halfway through my novel and I just got another 4 article project from one of my clients. I'm still working at the pharmaceutical company, though my role is ever expanding. I still hang out with Kabita and we hit the restaurants to satisfy cravings for Malaysian, Indian, Chinese, Portuguese, or whatever other kind of food strikes our fancy.

I miss Sheena, who is back in the US sorting out her visa. We're going to the uber posh Covent Garden Hotel for a fancy afternoon tea when she gets back. Finger's crossed it'll be October. I'm off to Rome in November with the super cool Lyn for some scrummy Italian food, Really Old Roman Stuff, and ogling good looking Italian men (Shhh... don't tell my mother.). This Monday night I'm off to my friend Clara's birthday party for some cake and a little Brazilian dancing.

And that's all the news that is news. At least for now. I will try to be better in the future, but I can't promise anything. You might have to wait for the novel...
